Course Type & Accreditation

At our TEFL school in Rome we offer the Trinity CertTESOL, which is rated at Level 5 on Ofqual’s Regulated Qualifications Framework, a comparable level to the second year of an undergraduate degree. Trinity TEFL Course Timetable

  • Full-Time Trinity CertTESOL Course (4 weeks)
    Monday – Friday 10 am – 5 pm, including some short breaks and a lunch break.
  • Part-Time Trinity CertTESOL Course (6 weeks)
    Monday – Wednesday 10 am – 5 pm, including some short breaks and a lunch break.
  • Online Trinity CertTESOL course (6 or 10 weeks)
    Live input sessions:  Mondays / Fridays and/or Saturdays from 4-6pm CET (recordings will be made available)
    Online teaching practice: Once or twice a week from 10-11.30am or 6-7.30pm (you can choose)
    10-15 flexible study hours per week for assignment writing and lesson planning

About the School

Our school is located in central Rome in Piazza Re di Roma, on the famous via Appia, a few hundred meters from the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano (St. John in Lateran).
It is easily reachable by public transportation: Metro stop Re di Roma line A, Metro stop San Giovanni line C, train station Roma Tuscolana and several bus stops.


Our accommodation agent in Rome will help you find a room or private apartment to suit you. The school is well connected by public transport, close to several Metro stations and bus stops.

Our accommodation service is optional so you are free to find your own accommodation if you prefer.  To ensure a greater range of options we recommend that you register and inquire about housing at least one month in advance.

Homestay / Room in a shared flat:

Single Room with a shared bathroom: €550 – €700 for four weeks. You also have the option to extend your stay for a discounted rate.
Single Room with a private bathroom: €850-950 for four weeks. You also have the option to extend your stay for a discounted rate.

Private/independent apartment:

Studio/independent apartment: from €1000 – €1500 for four weeks.
